DAY 01:  Arrive to Perú / Lima

An English-speaking  representative will be expecting you from your international arrival, city tour in the afternoon on to the colonial area of Lima, we will visit  the Cathedral, the Convent of Santo Domingo, and the Main Square with its beautiful baroque style buildings. You will also have a chance to visit Casa Aliaga, reportedly the oldest home on the Continent and still family-owned after 17 generations. the Convent of San Francisco and its catacombs; Huaca Pucllana; and the Museo de la Inquisition.

DAY 02: Lima / Cusco / Sacred Valley

Check in assistance at Lima”s Aiport for your flight to Cusco. arrival in Cusco, your personal guide and private driver will greet you at the airport to head straight to the ‘Sacred Valley’, stop for a short visit of Awanacancha where you will have the opportunity to see four species of camelids that live in the  Andes  such as llamas,alpacas,vicuñas and guanacos.Driving to the valley,we will appreciate the great views of the most impressive complex of agricultural terraces of the Sacred Valley, and will visit  Pisac,the famous market, with its variety of handcrafts and fresh produce. Continue on to the Pisac ruins. With Inca masonry of superlative quality, the stunning terracing following the contours of the mountain and superior view of the valley will leave you in awe.Afterwards you will be taken to your hotel. DAY 03: Maras – Salt Mines / Moray / Pachamanca Lunch

Today you’ll visit Maras, the site of the remarkable and unusual Salinas, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley. This site consists of a huge number of watered terraces that collect salt by evaporation from the saline waters that gush from an underground stream. Built in a similar way to agricultural terraces seen throughout the Andes, the Salinas have been in use since pre-Columbian times. Visually, the shining, salt-encrusted terraces are extraordinary. Nearby Maras  the most enigmatic Inca terraces at the site of Moray, a very unique arqueological site in the region,  probably used for agricultural experimentation, consists of several enormous terraced circular depressions. In these natural formations, nature has created environmental conditions or microclimates that in modern time people need create in greenhouses or hothouses to get the same results.

Afterwards enjoy a traditional Pachamanca lunch at an organic farm. Having been the “bread basket” at the heart of the Inca Empire, the lush Sacred Valley has abundant potential to produce a variety of fresh ingredients – today many that you will try are sourced from the farm. Choose from a variety of native potatoes,alpaca  steak,beef,chicken, vegetable served with traditional sauce.Before returning to the hotel we will visit Cerveceria del Valle, a family-owned craft brewery producing Andean-inspired ales and lagers using high quality ingredients and glacial spring water from over 13,000 ft. above sea level. One of the founders will guide you around the brewery before you sample a selection of beers.Later we will be transferred to our hotel. (B-PL).

DAY 04: Urubamba / Ollantaytambo / Machupicchu

Early departure you visit the fabulous town of Ollantaytambo and its archaeological sites. The town is unique in that it still preserves its original Inca plan with people living in traditional canchas enclosures once occupied by the Inca elite. We will also visit the Inca ruins situated on a hilltop landscape with surrounding terracing and cyclopean rock carvings.

We will head to the train station in Ollantaytambo for your two hour train ,where will see the drastic changes from mountain vegatation to cloud forest until arrival at the station of Machu Picchu pueblo and  you will board a bus to reach the entrance of machupicchu. “ magnificence” is the only word to describe the scene and Machupicchu ruins, the “ lost city of the incas. Believed to be an Inca settlement built to control the economies of neighboring communities, it is associated with being the royal state of Pachacuti, the great Inca who sparked the expansion of the empire.Lunch in Santuary lodge Restaurant. Afternoon, where the majority of visitors have left the site, we will enjoy a 2-3 hour guided visit of Machupicchu. Return by bus to your hotel in Aguas calientes. Check in.(B-L).

DAY 05: Machupicchu / Cusco

This morning you’ll return to the ruins with your guide. Optionally hike to IntiPunku, the “Sun Gate”, take a more strenuous climb to Huayna Picchu or climb to the top of Machu Picchu Mountain, located south of the Citadel and offering spectacular panoramic views. Following your visit, take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes.Lunch in Aguas Calientes and will catch the train (approx. 1.5hrs) back to Ollantaytambo station, where our a private vehicle will be waiting to transfer you by road to Cusco (approx. 2hrs). Check in to your hotel. (B-L).

DAY 06: Cusco city tour and nearby ruins

Morning free. In the afternoon will go by car to Saqsayhuaman, a vas fortress built on three platforms, overlooking the city of Cusco. From here we continue to Kenko, a site or worship with a high rock carved into the shape of a Puma, which dominates a series of canals, passageways painted with animals. The road continues uphill to reach Puka-Pucara and Tambomachay, a site with Inca baths. Return to Cusco, and visit the main sites around the Plaza de Armas – the Cathedral, the Inca walls with its 12 angled stone and the Sun Temple of Koricancha inside the Santo Domingo Church. At the end we can leave you in the restaurant or in your hotel. (B.)

DAY 07: Cusco / Lima / Out

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima . Our representative and your guide  assist you and will visit the modern area of Lima,Panoramic view of Pacific ocean,Larcomar and lunch in from of the ocean.Afternoon we will transfer you to airport  for you international flight.  (B-L.)
