CEREMONIAL TOUR- QUILLARUMIYO

Quillarumiyoc means “moonstone”. A symbol carved on one of the largest rock (Huaca); is a temple dedicated to femininity or pachamama. A cave decorated with carved stones fit perfectly one over another includes cropland and moon cult becoming a sacred area into the Andes. This is a place for Andean religion, ideology, esoteric knowledge and spiritual theology of the Andes.

TOUR DESCRIPTION

You will be picked up from your hotel at 9 am in Cusco by your guide. We will take a road around the mountains north of Cusco. On the way we will stop in Izcuchaca, to visit the local market and buy some, coca leave, flowers and other spices that we need for the ceremony. After 40 minutes we will arrive to QUILLARUMIYOC, the sacred place, where we explore before to do our ceremony and ritual to pachamama in one specific place wich is a sacred cave; this is a good a moment for meditacion.

Finally we have our box lunch and we will visit a textile center to see how the local ladies do weaving textiles.
